The next instalment in the Halo universe and the first game to
be developed solely by 343 Studios has finally got a release date. Halo 4
will be released on November 6 has officially announced by Microsoft.
This will be the first game since Halo 3 to feature both Master Chief
and Cortana and will follow on their story four years on from the end of the
third game.
Phil Spencer, corporate vice president of Microsoft
Studios today
addressed the game.
"We are beginning a new saga with Halo 4 and embarking on a journey that will encompass the next decade of Halo games and experiences, millions of fans worldwide have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to step back into the boots of Master Chief, and with Halo 4 leading the charge, we're confident 2012 will be the most successful year in Xbox history"
