Wikipedia to "Black out" in Anti-SOPA protest

As I predicted the opposition to the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) is just getting stronger and stronger by the day, with Google, Twitter and Facebook already opposing the law it has been revealed that internet giants Wikipedia will black out its englsih language site for 24 hours in protest of the legislation.

During the black out readers will only be able to read information about SOPA and the Protect Intellectual  Property Act (PIPA), and this information will urge readers to contact their local congressman and vote against the two bills. To put into perspective how powerful the opposition is now getting just the english language Wikiepdia gets a reported 25 million hits a day, couple this with the millions that Google and the rest get there is a significant amount of people lining up against this bill.

I said it before and I'm saying it again, this legislation cannot be allowed to happen, and more influencial people and companies will come out against the bill, the opposition is growing daily.

More SOPA updates to come.
